Her creative journey began in 2014 after she graduated from OCADU in downtown Toronto, where she earned a degree in fine art, focusing on drawing and painting.

Initially, she honed her artistic skills through one-of-a-kind paintings and limited edition prints. In 2017, Catherine discovered the captivating world of ceramics, quickly falling in love with pottery. She dedicated herself to perfecting her wheel-throwing techniques, and as her confidence grew, she reconnected with her illustrative roots. Now, she adorns her ceramic pieces with original illustrations, often inspired by the beauty of flora and fauna, featuring whimsical depictions of animals and nature.
