Here you will find all of the information you need for placing custom orders!

To place a custom order with me, please reach out through email at info@blackcatpottery.ca or message me on my instagram! I am very quick to respond either way, but tend to see instagram messages sooner and find it easier to send quick information like reference photos. But if email is your preferred form of contact, that is totally fine! 

I can take on any form of commission, so don't be shy to reach out!

Here are some common commission requests I receive:

Mugs, Vases, Butter dishes (domed or french), Plates, Bowls, Sugar Jars, Urns, Teapots, Tea mugs with built in strainers and lids, Bongs, Pipes, Ashtrays, Oil decanters, Soap dispensers, Cookie jars, Ring dishes, Berry bowls and more!

I can accommodate most colour requests and will work hard to find a glaze that will suit your needs! 

Useful information to provide me with when making a custom request:

What you would like made, Quantity, Size preferences, Colour preferences, Plain glazed or illustrations, Any other special requests.

Illustration Requests:

If you would like illustrations on your custom pottery, please provide me with information on what you would like illustrated! Reference photos are always appreciated, especially if you would like a pet commission. Please try not to send me other artists work as reference. I will look at images of other artists work if you want me to see style references or composition references, but I will not recreate other artists work on my pottery. If it is your own original art, or you have written permission from the artist, I will consider doing a reproduction.

Pricing for common requested items:

**Prices do not include shipping. Most prices do not include illustration charges. Please reach out for a quote that includes illustrations if pricing is not stated bellow. Any other special requests could affect pricing.**

Mugs: $50 for a plain glazed mug, $70 for a basic illustrated mug, $100 for a pet portrait or high detail illustrated mug

Bowls: Soup sized bowl $40 or 4 for $140. Large serving bowl $80 or 2 for $140.     

Plates: Small/side plates $25 or 4 for $80. Dinner plates $40 or 4 for $140.

Vases: Under 6" tall $20-$50    7"-10" $60-$100    11"-14" $110-$150    15"-18" $160-$200

Butter dishes: Domed butter dish $50. French butter dish $60.

Sugar Jars: $40

Urns: $100 for cat urns, $100-$200 for dog urns, $400 for human urns

Teapots: $80-$120

Bongs: $60-$120

Pipes: $50-$80

Ashtrays: $50

Oil decanters: $60

Soap dispensers: $60

Cookie jars: $80

Berry bowls: $60

**These are not the only options for custom creations, but are the most common requests. If you have a different idea for a custom piece thats not listed above, please reach out to me and I can give you a quote!**

Whole Sale:

I also create pots for whole sale orders! If you own a shop or business and need multiple pieces then I can give you my whole sale pricing. Generally whole sale pricing is 50% off with a minimum order or 10 units, but this can vary depending on the pieces requests as well as the quantity. Please reach out to me if whole sale is something you are interested in!
